REPORT (2025) OF THE COMMITTEE ON TRADE AND ENVIRONMENT

In 2025, the Committee on Trade and Environment in Regular Session (CTE) held three meetings under the Chairmanship of the Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr Erwin Bollinger: a first formal meeting on 2 and 3 April[1], preceded by a thematic session on Trade-Related Climate Measures (TrCMs) on 4 February and another thematic session on technology transfer on 1 April; a second formal meeting on 30 June and 4 July[2] and a third formal meeting on 4 November[3], preceded by a thematic session on sustainable agriculture on 3 November. From 30 June to 4 July 2025, the CTE held its sixth Trade and Environmental Week. In addition, the CTE held four informal meetings, which were on 4 March, 16 May, 21 July, and 23 September 2025. All meetings were hosted both in person and virtually. The CTE also held an interactive session on 16 October 2025.
