This document has been prepared under the Secretariat's own responsibility and without prejudice to the positions of Members and to their rights and obligations under the WTO.
To provide background information on Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs), the Secretariat had prepared a note containing a matrix on trade-related measures pursuant to selected MEAs. The note prepared initially in 2000 was updated in 2001, 2003, and 2005. The present update of the Matrix provides information on the 14 MEAs that were covered in the previous versions. The Secretariat has prepared this Matrix in consultation with the Secretariats of the relevant MEAs.
