NOTIFICATION OF THE TREATMENT OF INTEREST CHARGES

The following communication, dated 15 September 2025, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Egypt.

Pursuant to the procedures established by the Committee on Customs Valuation set out in section A.3 of document _G/VAL/5, Egypt hereby notifies the Committee that it is implementing Decision 3.1 on the Treatment of Interest Charges in the Customs Value of Imported Goods according to Article 33 (h) of the Minister of Finance’s Decree no. 430 of 2021, noting that this decision has been implemented since 2006 as per the Ministerial Decree no. 10 of 2006 Article 16(h) (which was replaced by Minister of Finance’s Decree no. 430 for Year 2021).
