NOTIFICATION OF THE TREATMENT OF INTEREST CHARGES

following submission, dated 30 August 2019, is being circulated at the request
of the delegation of Myanmar.[1]

regard to the procedures established by the Committee on Customs Valuation in
Section A.3 of document G/VAL/5, Myanmar wishes to inform the Committee that it
has been applying the Decision on the Treatment of Interest Charges in Customs
Value of Imported Goods since 13 September 2017 by means of suitable
administrative instructions.
[1] This notification was originally prepared for circulation when it
was received but, due to an administrative oversight, was not circulated to
Members at that time.
