NOTIFICATION OF THE TREATMENT OF INTEREST CHARGES

The following communication, dated 26 October 2023, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

The Permanent Mission of Bolivia, pursuant to the Decision on the Treatment of Interest Charges in the Customs Value of Imported Goods (G/VAL/5, A.3), whereby Members agreed to notify the Committee of the date of application of Decision A.3, hereby submits this notification.

The treatment of interest charges in customs value has been applied since the 2003 financial year, in accordance with the provisions of Decision A.3 adopted by the Committee on Customs Valuation, and of Resolution No. 1684 of the Andean Community, of which the Plurinational State of Bolivia is a member.
