Communication from the Kingdom of Morocco
The following communication, dated 12 April 2001, has been received from the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco.

With reference to the High-Level Meeting on Least-Developed Countries held in Geneva on 27 and 28 October 1997 at which the Kingdom of Morocco took the initiative of granting preferential tariff treatment to exports from African least-developed countries, the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco at Geneva has the honour of informing WTO Members that this initiative has been furthered by the decision taken by our country and announced by His Majesty the King at the Africa-Europe Summit in Cairo on 1 and 2 April 2000.
