The United States would like to thank Papua
New Guinea for notifying the Customs (Ad
Valorem Duties) Regulation 1987 in document _G/VAL/N/1/PNG/1 and for responding to the Checklist
of Issues in _G/VAL/N/2/PNG/1. The United States requests a reply
in writing to its question below regarding Papua New Guinea's response to
question 4 on the Checklist of Issues.
Question 4: Please explain the text in
Division 6 of the regulation that implements Article 6.2 of the CVA.
