TENTH DECISION ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE FIFTH PROTOCOL

Adopted by the Council for Trade in Services on 18 March 2016

The Council for Trade in Services,

        Having regard to the Fifth Protocol to the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS),

        Having regard to the communication from Brazil (S/C/W/365),

        Notwithstanding the Decision on the acceptance of the Fifth Protocol to the GATS adopted by the Council on 15 February 1999 (S/L/68),

        Decides as follows,

        The Fifth Protocol shall be reopened for acceptance by Brazil from the date of this decision until 25 March 2016.  The Protocol shall enter into force for Brazil as from the date of such acceptance.
