The
following communication, dated 20 March 2024, is being circulated at the
request of the delegation of Peru.

to its notification dated 1 September 2022 (_G/TFA/N/PER/1/Add.2), the Republic of Peru
hereby notifies the extension of its previously indicated definitive
implementation date for the provisions on notifications for enhanced controls
or inspections and test procedures, in accordance with the information below.

date for the measure because further technical assistance is required to legislatively
and functionally implement what has been achieved under the "initiative
to improve the efficiency of sanitary management within the framework of
Trade Facilitation Agreement implementation in Peru" - an initiative implemented
with donor support to ensure compliance with the measure.
