CERTIFICATION OF IMPROVEMENTS
TO SCHEDULES OF SPECIFIC COMMITMENTS

NORTH MACEDONIA

TRANSMISSION OF CERTIFIED TRUE COPY

        WHEREAS the Council for Trade in Services, on 18 April 2000, adopted Procedures for the Certification of Rectifications or Improvements to Schedules of Specific Commitments (document S/L/84);

        WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the above-mentioned Procedures, a draft containing improvements to North Macedonia's Schedule of Specific Commitments was communicated to Members of the World Trade Organization in document S/C/W/418 on 20 December 2022, and objections to the proposed improvements were received on 6 February 2023 from South Africa (document S/L/474) and India (document S/L/459), but subsequently a corrigendum to the aforementioned draft was circulated by North Macedonia on 25 January 2024 (document S/C/W/418/Corr.1), in light of which South Africa withdrew its objection on 16 February 2024 (document S/L/482), and India withdrew its objection on 26 February 2024 (document S/L/499);

WHEREAS on 26 February 2024, the WTO Secretariat issued a communication to all Members to the effect that the certification procedure concerning the above‑mentioned improvements has been concluded (document S/L/526);

WHEREAS on 14 July 2025, North Macedonia indicated that it has completed its relevant domestic approval procedures, and that the above-mentioned improvements had entered into force on 9 July 2025;

        IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that the annexed improvements constitute an integral part of North Macedonia's Schedule of Specific Commitments as of 9 July 2025.

        I hereby furnish a certified true copy of the above-mentioned improvements to each Member of the World Trade Organization.[1] This certification shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations.
