PROTOCOL ON THE ACCESSION OF THE UNION OF THE COMOROS

TO THE MARRAKESH AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING THE WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION DONE AT ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, ON 26 FEBRUARY 2024

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE AND ENTRY INTO FORCE

        I have the honour to inform you that on 22 July 2024, the Union of the Comoros deposited with me an instrument of acceptance of the above‑mentioned Protocol, thereby recognizing as fully binding the signature affixed to the Protocol by its plenipotentiary on 26 February 2024.

        Pursuant to its paragraph 8, the Protocol shall enter into force and the Union of the Comoros shall become a Member of the World Trade Organization on 21 August 2024.

        This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Protocol. As stipulated in its paragraph 10, the Protocol shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations.
