TRANSMISSION OF CERTIFIED TRUE COPY

I have the honour to inform you that on 26 February 2024, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste signed the Protocol on the Accession of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization, done at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 26 February 2024 (the "Protocol"), subject to ratification.

In accordance with its paragraphs 7 and 8, the above-mentioned Protocol is open for acceptance, by the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste until 30 August 2024 or such later date as may be decided by the General Council, and shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the day upon which it shall have been accepted by the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

This notification, as well as the enclosed certified true copy of the Protocol, is furnished in accordance with paragraph 9 of the Protocol.
