procedures (_GPA/1,
Annex 3), delegations have been invited to notify their respective threshold
values in national currencies.
The information notified by the European Union for the period 2026-2027
is reproduced below.

2 PERIOD OF VALIDITY FOR THE THRESHOLD
The threshold levels provided
above will apply to the period starting on 1 January 2026
and ending on 31 December 2027.
3 METHOD OF CALCULATION
The calculation of the thresholds expressed
in EUR and in national currencies, has been based on the average daily Special
Drawing Right (SDR) to EUR exchange rate over 24 months from 1 September
2023 through 31 August 2025 (SDR 1 = 1.2213440 EUR).
The value of the thresholds in EUR and in
national currencies has been expressed without the value‑added tax (VAT)
because European Union excludes VAT when calculating the value of contracts.
