Brief description of the notified legal text

"Cabinet Order Stipulating Special Procedures for Government Procurement of Goods or Specified Services" (hereinafter referred as "Cabinet Order") was enacted in November 1980 to implement the Agreement on Government Procurement.

A partial amendment was made to the Cabinet Order, adding some provisions in order to reflect paragraphs 4, 5 and 7 of Article XI of GPA that allow for reducing the time-period for tendering established in accordance with its paragraph 3 of Article XI. On 24 January 2025, this amendment was adopted at a cabinet meeting, and it was promulgated and came into effect on January 29. Text of the Cabinet Order is available at the following link.
