PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT
AS AN OBSERVER

WRITTEN NOTICE FROM TIMOR-LESTE

The following communication, dated 27 September 2024, has been received from the delegation of Timor-Leste with the request that it be circulated to the Committee on Government Procurement.

The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste recalls that, pursuant to Article XXl:4 of the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) of 2012, any WTO Member that is not a Party to the Agreement shall be entitled to participate in the Committee as an observer by submitting a written notice to the Committee.

Against this background, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste hereby transmits to the WTO Committee on Government Procurement the notification for the Democratic Republic of Timor‑Leste to participate in the Committee's work as an observer.

I avail myself of the opportunity to renew to the Committee and the GPA Parties the assurance of my highest consideration.
