This note
systematically compiles general background documents of the Committee on
Government Procurement (CGP) related to accessions to the GPA as well as other
CGP documents[2] concerning: (i) pending
GPA accession processes; (ii) GPA accession commitments of WTO Members
that have not yet applied for accession to the GPA 2012; (iii)
accessions to the GPA that have been concluded (before and after the entry into
force of the GPA 2012); and (iv) the integration of additional WTO Members
to the European Union's coverage under the GPA 2012. In addition, it contains an
annex with a list of annual Committee reports and meeting records summarizing
Committee discussions about specific GPA accessions.
This note will
be updated periodically to reflect the latest developments.
