        The following communication has been received from the delegation of Chinese Taipei with the request that it be circulated to the Members of the Interim Committee.

        In reply to the questions received from delegations, as compiled by the Secretariat in an informal document dated 6 February 1995, the following responses are given.  They are based on the current operational system of government procurement of Chinese Taipei.  A reform by Chines Taipei is being undertaken.  After the GPA will have entered into force for Chinese Taipei, it will enforce the tendering procedures as provided in the GPA for the procurement covered by its offer.
