Brief description of the
notified legal text
The Order
introduces amendments to the Procedure for State Registration of Copyright
and Agreements Related to Property Rights to a Work, which include the
following:
·_
issuance of a certificate based on a
decision on the registration of an agreement related to property rights to a
work;
·_
establishment of the procedure for
confirming the registration of application for state registration of the
author's right to a work and an application for state registration of an
agreement related to the author's rights to a work;
·_
definition of the procedure for leaving an
application without consideration;
·_
establishment that upon completion of the
consideration of an application, the Ukrainian National Office for
Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO) shall issue the relevant
decision;
·_
establishment that following the issuance of
the relevant certificate, original documents submitted in paper form shall be
returned to the applicant;
·_
provision allowing applicants to withdraw an
application at any stage prior to the adoption of a decision by UANIPIO;
·_
clarification of the grounds for recusal and
self-recusal of UANIPIO officials during the consideration of an application.
