Brief description of the notified legal text

_The Intellectual Property Regulations 2015 ("Regulations") were made pursuant to section 137 of the Intellectual Property Act 2011 ("Act") for the effective operation and enforcement of the Act, including international obligations and penalties.

The Regulations (These regulations) may cover:

•      Licensing procedures and conditions;

•      Application processes and requirements;

•      Appointment and duties of officials;

•      Registrar's procedures for examining applications;

•      Standards for rights holders;

•      Terms and conditions of licences;

•      Information required for applications;

•      Management of official registers;

•      Access and benefit-sharing processes;

•      Offences and penalties;

•      Fees for services; and

•      Other matters required by the Act.
