•      Industrial Designs Act 1972

The Act Amends:

•      Sections 306, 307 and 314 of the Customs Act 2014

The link above contains the official version of the Intellectual Property Act 2011, as at 31 December 2024, consolidating key revisions to align Samoa's intellectual property framework with international standards. Notably, the 2017 amendment updated fee provisions; the 2018 amendment introduced the Madrid Protocol, facilitating the international registration of trademarks; and the 2020 amendment incorporated the Patent Cooperation Treaty, the Geneva Act, and the Hague Agreement, thereby enabling the international registration of patents, industrial designs, and geographical indications.
