Brief description of the notified legal text

The notified legal text is the Presidential Decree on Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Copyright Act (Presidential Decree No. 33943, Promulgated on 12 December 2023).

This amendment revises the rules concerning commission fees for the integrated collection of royalties and remuneration and deletes a redundant provision. The main changes are:

        It allows the copyright trust service provider and remuneration-receiving organizations and         persons entrusted with the integrated collection to determine the criteria for the payment of         entrustment commission by agreement within the scope of the integrated collection amount.

        Pursuant to the establishment of a general provision in the General Act on Public         Administration regarding the extensions of payment deadline for penalty surcharges, the         corresponding article within this Enforcement Decree has been deleted.
