Brief description of the notified legal text

Amendment of Schedule 1 to the Patents Ordinance (Cap. 514)

To update the lists of Paris Convention countries and WTO member countries, territories and areas under the domestic legislation for meeting the international obligations under the Paris Convention and the TRIPS Agreement of affording to a person who has filed an application for a patent in a Paris Convention country or a WTO member country, territory or area a right of priority during a prescribed period for the purpose of filing a corresponding application in Hong Kong, China.
