Brief description of the notified legal text The Copyright (International Protection) Amendment Regulations 2024 (the Amendment Regulations) update the protection provided to foreign countries under the Copyright (International Protection) Regulations 1969. The Amendment Regulations extend protection for secondary uses of phonograms in Australia to phonograms from 2 additional countries which provide equivalent protection to Australian phonograms.
