Brief

Key points of the
amendments to provisions of the Trademark Act include the establishment of a
trademark agent management system (amended Articles 6, 12, and 109-1) and the
introduction of an accelerated examination mechanism for trademark
registration applications (amended Articles 19 and 104).
To
align with the implementation of the new provisions, relevant subordinate
regulations, including the "Regulations Governing Trademark Agent
Registration and Management", the "Enforcement Rules of the
Trademark Act", and the "Fee-charging Standards of Trademark",
also came into effect on May 1, 2024.
