NOTIFICATION PURSUANT TO THE DECISION ON NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES

FOR QUANTITATIVE RESTRICTIONS (_G/L/59/REV.1)

Addendum

The following communication, dated 30 December 2025, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

D. Type of notification:

1. Complete (i.e. notification of all quantitative restrictions in force)

2. Changes to a notification previously made in _G/MA/QR/N/KGZ/1/Add.48 and _G/MA/QR/N/KGZ/1/Add.51 which are of the following nature:

2.1 Introduction of new restrictions, as listed in Section 1.

2.2 Elimination of restrictions, as described in G below.

2.3 Modification of a previously notified restriction, as described in Section 1.

3. Reverse notification of restrictions maintained by (Member):

E. The notification provides information for the following biennial period (e.g. 2012‑2014): 2024-2026 and relates to restrictions in force as of 10 January 2026

Section 1: List of quantitative restrictions that are currently in force.

Section 2: Cross-reference to other WTO notifications with information on quantitative restrictions that are currently in force and additional information.

G. Comments of a general nature, including a description of the elimination of restrictions notified under D.2.2 and the date they ceased to be in force.

The Kyrgyz Republic notifies the following temporary measure:

1._ The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic #818 dated 22 December 2025 on temporary prohibition to import into the territory of
the Kyrgyz Republic for a period of six months of:

-_ Electronic cigarettes and nicotine delivery systems with nicotine liquid in one part classified by an HS Code 2404 12 000 0

-_ Nicotine-containing liquids in cartridges, tanks and other containers classified by an HS Code 2404 12 000 0

The Decree entered into force on 10 January 2026, for a duration of six months.

2._ The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic #828 dated 24 December 2025 on the temporary export prohibition of wood and timber classified by the HS Code 44.01, 44.03 and 44.07 outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Decree enters into force on 13 January 2026, for a duration of six months.

GATT Article XI:2	Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic #828 dated 24 December 2025. Into force on 13 January 2026 for a period of six months.	This is an extension of a measure which was notified earlier in document _G/MA/QR/N/KGZ/1/Add.48.
			44.03	Wood in the rough, whether or not stripped of bark or sapwood, or roughly squared.
			44.07	Wood sawn or chipped lengthwise, sliced or peeled, whether or not planed, sanded or end-jointed, of a thickness exceeding 6 mm.
