NOTIFICATION PURSUANT TO THE DECISION ON NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES

FOR QUANTITATIVE RESTRICTIONS (_G/L/59/REV.1)

The following communication, dated 13 October 2025, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Kyrgyz Republic notifies the following temporary measures:

 

1. The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic #553 dated 3 September 2025 on the temporary export prohibition from the Kyrgyz Republic outside the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union of limestone shell rock, crude or roughly trimmed, cut by sawing or otherwise, into blocks or slabs of a rectangular (including square) shape, classified by the codes 2515 11 000 0 and 2515 12 000 0, produced or extracted in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Decree entered into force on 23 September 2025, for a duration of six months.

 

2. The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic #571 dated 8 September 2025 on the temporary export prohibition from the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic of used catalysts applied to carriers classified by the code 3815, slag, ash and residues containing metals in wasted catalysts, suitable only for metal extraction or for the production of chemical reagents classified by the code 2620, waste and scrap palladium, rhodium and platinum contained in wasted catalysts used primarily for the recovery of precious metals classified by the code 7112, mufflers and exhaust pipes and their parts containing catalysts classified by the code 8708 92 entered into force on 25 September 2025, for a duration of six months.

 

3. The Kyrgyz Republic notifies the following revision of the temporary measure notified in _G/MA/QR/N/KGZ/1/Add.52.

The restriction does not apply to the following:"– horses transported by air". This above-mentioned exception entered into force on 17 October 2025.

 

4. The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic #633 dated 3 October 2025 on temporary prohibition to import into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic of motor vehicle bodies into the Kyrgyz Republic classified by HS Code 8707 10 900 0 for a period of six months, with the exception of motor vehicle bodies intended for production and assembly in the Kyrgyz Republic, imported by DT Technik Limited Liability Company (Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN 02811201210064), Shumkar Transnational Corporation Open Joint Stock Company (TIN 01709202111559), Zhisu Chinese-Kyrgyz Joint Automobile Manufacturing Company Limited Liability Companies (TIN 02902202410382), Shunfa (TIN 01706201610209), Murat Avto (TIN 01010202410378), Kyrgyz Unaa Kurulush (TIN 01202201810079), Meridian Gold (TIN 01812201710299). The Decree will be entered into force on 19 October 2025 for a duration of six months.
