INVOCATION
OF PARAGRAPH 5 OF ARTICLE XXVIII
The following communication, dated 12 December 2023, is being circulated at the
request of the delegation of Guatemala.

Guatemala wishes to
invoke Article XXVIII:5 of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994 by
reserving the right to modify its Schedule of Concessions LXXXVIII, in accordance with the
provisions of that Article, during the three-year period commencing 1 January
2024.
