Description of content: The notified
Regulation seeks to establish the characteristics, requirements and technical
specifications to be met by nixtamalized maize flour for human consumption
that is marketed in national territory. It applies to all actors involved in
the processing, marketing and distribution of nixtamalized maize flour for
human consumption. Such flour includes imported, domestically produced and
donated maize flour.
