Communication by the European Community Physical Movement of Consignments (Transport and Transit) As the March 1998 Symposium showed, this is a potentially vast area, covering everything from transport documentation or visa requirements for drivers to international transport conventions and upgrading of physical infrastructure, all of which have a direct or indirect impact on the ease with which goods cross borders.
