NEW AND FULL NOTIFICATION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XVII:4(A)
OF THE GATT 1994 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF THE UNDERSTANDING
ON THE INTERPRETATION OF ARTICLE XVII

The following communication, dated 8 August 2024 and received on 23 August 2024, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Haiti.

Pursuant to Article XVII:4(a) of the GATT 1994 and paragraph 1 of the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XVII of the GATT 1994, and in response to the call for notifications contained in document G/STR/N/20, the Republic of Haiti notifies Members that it has not maintained any state trading enterprise, within the meaning of the definition set out in paragraph 1 of the above-mentioned Understanding, during the period 2022-2023.
