NEW AND FULL NOTIFICATION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XVII:4(A) OF THE
GATT 1994 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF THE UNDERSTANDING ON
THE INTERPRETATION OF ARTICLE XVII

The following communication, dated and received on 8 August 2024, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Georgia.

Pursuant to Article XVII:4(a) of the GATT 1994, and paragraph 1 of the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XVII, and in response to the notification requirement contained in document G/STR/N/20, covering the notification period 2022-2023, the Government of Georgia wishes to notify that Georgia does not maintain any state trading enterprises falling within the meaning of the working definition contained in paragraph 1 of the above-mentioned Understanding.
