This listing does not address the qualitative aspects of these
notifications, that is, the extent to which the content of the submissions
satisfies the informational requirements of the notification obligations or
affects the rights and obligations of Members.

The abbreviations and symbols used in the table are as follows:

"N&F
Notif." in the column heading indicates a new and full notification.

"Upd.
Notif." in the column heading indicates an updating notification.

"X"
denotes that a notification has been received by the WTO. Subsequent addenda or
corrections to notifications are not counted as additional notifications.

"N"
indicates that a nil notification has been received by the WTO.
·_
A blank indicates
that no notification has been received by the WTO.
·_
"*"
indicates that the country/customs territory was not yet a Member of the WTO.

"A"
indicates the year in which the WTO Agreement entered into force for that

This status of notifications covers notification
periods until, and including, 2022-2023.[1]
With respect to the number of notifications, the European Union and its member
States are counted as one. The member States that joined the European Union on
1 May 2004,[2]
1 January 2007,[3]
and 1 July 2013[4]
are also listed separately in order to provide information on the period
preceding the enlargements of the European Union. For the notification periods
until, and including, 2018-2019 (N/18), the European Union and the United
Kingdom are counted as one. The European Union and the United Kingdom are
counted separately starting from the 2020-2021 notification period (N/19).
