THE FOREIGN TRADE AND INVESTMENT COUNCIL
WHEREAS:
By Resolution 466 the Foreign Trade and Investment Council (COMEXI) in plenary session approved the application of a balance of payments safeguard in accordance with the provisions of Article XVIII, Section B, of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1947 owing to Ecuador's balance of payments difficulties.
