From 1 July 2024, the Australian Government will eliminate the applied most-favoured nation tariff on 457 tariff lines. The list includes a broad range of goods such as certain types of food, clothing, furniture and electrical appliances and certain menstrual and sanitary products.

These goods will be eligible for a "Free" rate of customs duty in Schedule 3 and Schedules 4A to 15 of the Australian Customs Tariff Act 1995 when imported into Australia on or after 1 July 2024.
