Status Report by India
The following communication, dated 14 July 2000, from the Permanent Mission of India to the Chairman of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated pursuant to Article 21.6 of the DSU.

On 22 September 1999, the DSB adopted the recommendations and rulings in respect of the panel and Appellate Body reports in India - Quantitative Restrictions on Imports of Agricultural, Textile and Industrial Products (WT/DS90).
Pursuant to Article 21.3(b) of the DSU, on 28 December 1999 the parties to the dispute reached a mutual agreement with respect to the "reasonable period of time" for India's implementation of the DSB rulings and recommendations. This agreement was circulated to the DSB in WT/DS90/15.
