CHINA – MEASURES CONCERNING TRADE IN GOODS
COMMUNICATION
FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION
The following communication,
dated 28 November 2025, was received from the delegation of the European Union
with the request that it be circulated to the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB).

The European Union (EU) hereby notifies the
Dispute Settlement Body that, considering that the key objectives behind this
dispute have been met and relevant trade has resumed, it no longer considers it
necessary to pursue its complaint in DS610. Therefore, the EU is hereby
terminating the dispute settlement procedure in DS610.
This
notification is without prejudice to the EU’s views regarding the consistency
of the measures at issue with the covered agreements and to the EU’s right
under the DSU to challenge similar measures in the future. The EU will continue
to monitor the situation.
