The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers
of Ukraine No. 997 of 13 August 2025 amends the Resolution of the
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1481 of 24 December 2024 "On
Approval of the List of Goods Subject to Export and Import Licensing, and
Quotas for 2025" (notified in document _G/LIC/N/2/UKR/29).
The amendments concern the licensing
procedure for import of controlled substances (ozone-depleting substances and
fluorinated greenhouse gases), as well as goods and equipment that may
contain such substances.
The amendments streamline the licensing
procedure by eliminating the requirement for the Ministry of Economy to
obtain approval from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural
Resources, in the order of interagency exchange of information, for import of
the aforementioned goods.
As a result, the review of applications
and the issuance of import licenses are now carried out by the Ministry of
Economy, Environment and Agriculture, without the need for approval from any
other authority.
In this regard, the name of the Ministry of Economy
has been changed to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
