Introduction
The process of accession to the WTO of small vulnerable economies places unreasonable demands on applicant countries. There is no limit to the demands that may be made of the acceding small vulnerable economies and major WTO Members have used this freedom to impose demands going far beyond the commitments undertaken by WTO Members at similar stages of development or indeed beyond the commitments that they themselves have undertaken.
