2003 Technical Assistance Activities
implementation for the second quarter

Note by the Secretariat
In line with its commitments to the Membership, the Secretariat herewith submits a document listing all Technical Assistance and Training Activities undertaken in the second quarter of the year 2003. The document is organized by subject and contains succinct information on the topic covered, the venue, the nature of the activity, whether a partner agency was associated, the number of staff involved, its duration and the costs of each activity.
The implementation rate has accelerated dramatically with a total of 129 activities undertaken in the second quarter, compared to 66 in the first quarter. Given the total number of 441 activities contained in the TRTA Plan for 2003, the number of implemented activities corresponds to near
