Brief description of the changes: Taking into account that the EFTA States and Montenegro
have adopted the Regional Convention on Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Preferential
Rules of Origin, this Protocol set out a new Annex VIII to their Free Trade
Agreement, covering rules of origin and methods of cooperation. The updated
Annex VIII ensures Parties apply the same revised rules of the Convention and
its subsequent amendments assuring
that products originating in the EFTA States and Montenegro adhere to the
same rules of origin, including cumulation, as other Convention participants.
