Brief description of the changes:
The
EFTA States and the Republic of Serbia agreed to implement transitional
provisions pending the revision of the Regional Convention on
Pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin. The Decision updates
Protocol B to include alternative applicable rules of origin and provides
detailed rules for issuing electronically issued movement certificates EUR.1.
This ensures continued preferential treatment and cumulation benefits.
Additionally, the Decision includes provisions for the prohibition of drawback
of customs duties, dispute settlement mechanisms, and procedures for handling
withdrawal from the Convention.
