Brief description of the Agreement:
On 30 June 2022, the EU and New Zealand concluded negotiations for a
Trade Agreement. The deal opens great economic opportunities for companies,
farmers, and consumers. It includes unprecedented sustainability commitments,
for example on respecting the Paris Climate Agreement and core labour
standards, enforceable through trade sanctions as a last resort.
