Description: On 1 October 2025, the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a rule titled ''National Emission Standards
for Hazardous Air Pollutants from Secondary Lead Smelting Technology Review.''
(notified as G/TBT/N/USA/1947/Rev.1) The EPA is reopening the comment
period on this proposed rule, which closed on 17 November 2025. The comment
period will now end on 8 December 2025, to allow additional time for
stakeholders to review and comment on the proposal.
The EPA is reopening the comment period for the proposed
rule that published in the Federal Register (FR) on 1 October 2025, at 90 FR 47268. The EPA must receive written comments
on or before 8 December 2025.

rule notified as G/TBT/N/USA/1947/Rev.1 are identified by Docket Number

supporting documents as well as comments received. Documents are also

shared with EPA and will also be submitted to the Docket on Regulations.gov if received within
the comment period.
