Description of content: This Jordanian draft technical regulation specifies the requirements for degermed corn meal and grits intended for human consumption and obtained from mature, sound maize (Zea mays L.) after removal of the germ.

It covers definitions, essential composition and quality factors, contaminants and residues, microbiological limits, sampling and testing methods, packaging, transportation, storage, and labelling requirements.
