Description: This draft Decision establishes the Harmonized System (HS) Codes for product types that are required to be halal-certified in Indonesia, covering food and beverages, food additives, cosmetics, and natural medicine products. The HS list serves as a reference for importers and/or official representatives in:

(a) applying for registration of foreign halal certificates;

(b) identifying product categories subject to mandatory halal certification that are imported, circulated, or traded in Indonesia; and

(c) applying for halal certification with the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) or recognized Foreign Halal Certification Bodies.

Upon entry into force, this Decision will be a legally binding reference document for determining the scope of mandatory halal certification requirements based on HS Codes.
