Description of content: This harmonized standard applies to all refrigerating appliances of the vapor compression type, with a rated volume at or above 10 L and at or below 1,500 L, powered by electric mains and offered for sale or installed in any application.

This standard does not apply to:

1.1 wine storage appliances,

1.2 refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function,

1.3 mobile refrigerating appliances,

1.4 appliances where the primary function is not the storage of foodstuffs through refrigeration,

1.5 other products that do not meet the definition of a Refrigerator, Refrigerator-Freezer, or Freezer, and

1.6 other refrigerating appliances different than vapour compression type
