Description of content: This document specifies the technical requirements and operational maintenance requirements of the inerting system for atmosphere inerting explosion protection or inert dust addition explosion protection in explosive dust environments, and describes the corresponding verification methods.

This document applies to the inerting technology where inerting gas is introduced into an explosive dust environment or inert dust is added for complete inerting explosion protection, and partial inerting can be performed by reference.

This document does not apply to:

- Fire extinguishment;

- Technology for controlling the formation of explosive atmospheres where the oxidizer is not oxygen;

- The use of technologies to control the concentration of combustible dust clouds below the lower explosive limit to avoid the formation of explosive environments.
