1.1.  The present report is being circulated by the Chairperson of the Committee on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Committee) on her own responsibility. This report provides a summary of the activities of the SPS Committee in 2025.

1.2.  The SPS Committee held its formal meetings (in hybrid mode) on 19-20 March, 18-19 June, and 5-7 November 2025. Members continued to use _eAgenda to submit agenda items, raise and support specific trade concerns (STCs), and upload statements.

1.3.  Ms Cecilia Risolo (Argentina) had been elected in June 2024 as Chairperson for 2024‑2025. Ms Maria Cosme (France) was elected as Chairperson for 2025-2026.
