(Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia and
Uganda).
2. Technical support provided for the above member States by

control and livestock trade in the region, complementing the national
development efforts of member States includes:
1 Updated a joint vaccination calendar and surveillance programme for
harmonized actions along three cross border clusters
3. A cross-border meeting was conducted in Ethiopia with the objective
of updating the surveillance and vaccination calendars for: (i) the
Ethiopia-Djibouti cluster; and (ii) Karamoja (Ethiopia‑South Sudan, Kenya
and Uganda) cluster. A total of 28 participants were drawn from five countries
at both federal and border levels. The third cluster is along the Ethiopia-Somalia
