ON SUBSIDIES AND COUNTERVAILING MEASURES
AND ARTICLE
XVI:1 OF THE GATT 1994

The
following communication, dated and received on 28 May 2025, is being circulated
at the request of the delegation of Jordan.

The Government of Jordan hereby
notifies the Committee on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures, pursuant to
the provisions of Article 25.1 of the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures
and Article XVI:1 of the GATT 1994, and in conformity with the special
procedure adopted for new and full notification, that it does not grant or
maintain within its territory any subsidies, as defined in Article 1.1 of the
Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures, which are specific within
the meaning of Article 2 of that Agreement.
This notification applies to the period 2019-21.
